Dr Mazliza binti Ramly is a Public Health Medical Specialist working in HIV/STI/Hepatitis C Sector, Ministry of Health Malaysia. She currently the head of HIV Control and IBBS Research Unit who in charge of the Integrated Bio-behavioural Surveillance Survey. This survey is conducted every 2-3 years to evaluate the effectiveness of public health responses to HIV-infected high-risk groups. She is the principal investigator for IBBS 2017 and IBBS 2020. Before working in HIV/STI/Hepatitis C Sector, she has worked for more than 8 years as State Epidemiological Officer / State Surveillance Officer in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Professional experience includes working directly in developing Size Estimation of Key Populations in Malaysia 2018 and National and Subnational Estimations and Projections of HIV Epidemic in Malaysia for 2017 to 2020.
