Dr. Chirk Jenn Ng is a Professor of Family Medicine and Deputy Dean of Research at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Malaysia. His academic interest is in men’s health, shared decision making and evidence-based medicine. He is a co-author of the first Asian Men’s Health Report and his men’s health research work focuses on men’s health-seeking behaviour, screening and preventive care, and male sexual health. Professor Ng is part of the national working committee to develop policies for men’s health in Malaysia and he is currently developing the Malaysian Clearinghouse for Men’s Health to archive men’s health research work and activities in the country.
