Dr Ungku Shahrin is a registered medical doctor for the past 24 years performing most of the available aesthetic procedure to this day. Along the way he pursue his aesthetic training and obtained many aesthetic certification and fellowship from reputable institution. He obtained his master degree in education specializing in aesthetic education and training in 2016. He is the founder and program director of Medical Aesthetic Certification (MAC) program, Medical Aesthetic International Certification (MAIC) program, International Academy of Advanced Aesthetic (IAAA) program and still giving occasional lectures to the students.

 

With his vast experience and knowledge he often invited as speaker for major international aesthetic conferences such as IMCAS, AMWC, ITCAM, Dubai Derma, EADV, IMACE etc. He is also appointed by several local and international companies to become their Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in representing their aesthetic devices or products.

 

On the Ministry of Heath level, he is one of the committee member who developed the guidelines for aesthetic medical practitioners in Malaysia, and has been with the Aesthetic Medical Practice division MOH, Malaysia since 2008.

 

Dubbed as a prolific author by his colleagues, he published two medical aesthetic books, “Laser & Light in Aesthetic Practice: Unlocking the Secret Codes” and “Sound in Aesthetic: Unlocking the Secrets Codes” in early 2019.

 

Currently he is the President of Malaysia Registered Aesthetic Medical Practitioners Society (Pertubuhan Doktor Estetik Berdaftar Malaysia -PDEBM) and several other key position in aesthetic field.
